xhrl_ This is some old and sludgy death metal … 8 tracks in 33 mins of pure, dirty Finnish death metal in the old school vein of Demigod, Funebre, Demilich. For any fan of early Grave or Carcass, this will create a smile. Apparently this release contains all three demos recorded by Anathema-Funeration in 1990-1991. Very much a pleasure to hear this! Some of the vocals are reminiscent of the early chortling, pitch-shifted vocals by Jaro of Dead Infection;ie, drunken growled whispers. Very raw & catchy!
